Kurdish poet offers poetry courses in English

RENOWNED Kurdish poet, painter and scholar, Choman Hardi has announced that she will be holding a two-day course for Kurdish speakers wanting to write their poetry in English.

The course will be run at Cybotex Ltd on Edware Road on 22 and 29 June between the hours of 11:30am and 6pm.

Ms Hardi, a psychology and philosophy graduate at Oxford and University College London is currently studying a PHD at University of Kent and is researching about the mental health of Kurdish women refugees during their transition from their home culture to others abroad.  She also helped found the Kurdish writers and poets course at SOAS University.
