A MAN holding a toddler who answered his front door, was attached with a stun gun then stabbed in the neck. The attack occurred at a terraced house in Rosebery Avenue N17 on Friday 9 October. Police attended the address at 2.30pm after reports of a stabbing at the terraced residential house, when two men had forced entry to the venue and attacked the victim, who was holding a toddler. It is believed that the victim, a 32 year-old man, answered the door to two men wearing balaclavas who attacked the victim with a stun gun and then stabbed him in the neck The child was not hurt though the victim was taken by LAS to No arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing. Police retain an open mind at present regarding possible motive for the incident. Investigating officer DC Suzie Chantry of Haringey's Robbery Squad said: "This was a particularly nasty attack, where the victim was holding a child when the attack took place. This type of offence is not common, however we take every crime very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation.
