CROWDS of people flocked to the banks of the Thames last week-end to enjoy the Turkish Festival near Tower Bridge.
Organised by Turkish Forum UK, the festival featured live music, traditional Turkish food, craft and art and Turkish business information stalls.
There were live belly dance performances as well as a variety of singers and musicians to entertain the crowds.
Among those at the festival were Ebru-Art teacher Gulnur Salih, who demonstrated the fine art, which involves paint, oil and water.
The good weather drew many to the festival and it is estimated that over 100,000 visited the two-day event.
